Arts HQ LiVE is an opportunity for students in years 5 -12 to create and perform in a bespoke piece of theatre hosted across two SCS Venues:

You Talkin’ To Me – Acting The Text 

An exploration of voice production & acting techniques using different texts to portray character, intention and meaning.

DANCE FOCUS
Movement As Visual Text

Develop an understanding of how physicality and dance can be used to visually portray text, ideas and themes using gestural through to abstract movement.
WORKSHOP 3:    1 May, Southern Cross Catholic College Burwood
VOICE FOCUS
Storytelling Through Song

Developing the use of the voice, expression, physicality & stagecraft to further storytelling through song.

2 Performances – matinee & evening: Term 3

Note that both programs are only available to our SCS students that are in Years 5 to 12 and they can be involved in either or both.

There is no cost to be involved in either of these 2 programs.
